What is coaching?
Coaching is a Professional relationship between YOU & ME, that is designed to facilitate the creation & development of personal or professional goals & to develop & carry out a strategy or plan for achieving those goals. Coaching, in general, is a comprehensive process, that may involve all areas of YOUR life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education, recreation. The final resolution, how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching into those areas, and implement choices is exclusively YOUR decision and commitment. I, YOUR coach, am here to equip YOU with all the tools YOU need to succeed: training, knowledge, support, materials, and other resources as required. It is important to state here, that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association. Coaching is not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, or substance abuse treatment.
How can I help you as a coach to achieve your goals?
A professional coach listens beyond active listening, tuning into the client’s agenda, vision, desires, and values. You will feel heard, maybe even for the first time. Occasionally you are so entrenched in a situation and you don’t see what’s really happening. I will ask you powerful questions and hold a mirror up to you so you can finally become fully awake. Besides affirming with you that you’re capable of achieving your aspirations, coaches know that you’re worthy of living your life, your way. You’ll not only get some tools to visualize your goals and dreams, but we will also work on setting boundaries.
What is different between coaching and therapy or counselling?
Coaching and therapy or counselling are different. First of all, coaching focuses on your present and your future. Therapy or counselling is targeting your past. The coach will be focusing the program around the belief, that clients are in a healthy state of mind. The therapist work framework will have a base on some sort of illness and/or pathology. Another difference worth mentioning would be that a coach usually works with the conscious mind, while a counsellor with the unconscious mind. Also, therapy is likely to be set as an open-ended relationship, while coaching focuses on achieving a specific result within a timeframe.
What is similar between coaching and therapy or counselling?
Although coaching and therapy or counselling are different, they have some common similarities. They will all focus on supporting you to grow, master your emotions and make changes for a better, happier life. Also, they will target creating positive changes in your emotional state. Another important similarity would be that coaching and therapy support understanding self-limiting beliefs and behaviour.

What is the introduction chemistry session all about?
The introduction session with me is free of charge and usually takes between 30-60 minutes. An initial consultation will assist us in establishing a connection and get to know your needs. It takes place online on Zoom or Skype upon previous arrangement. During this session, we will get to know each other, discover how can I be of service to you, and draft a program schedule. Although there are no official legal ethical guidelines for life coaches, the industry standard is to follow the guidelines set forth for therapists and psychologists. Can I cancel or postpone a booked session?
Of course, YOU can cancel or reschedule the booked session within a minimum of 24 h prior notice. Sessions cancelled later than that, or due to a no-show, within the first 15 minutes, will still be charged at full value.
Where are the sessions held?
I hold online sessions, from the comfort of your home, wherever you are. Online sessions can be done using Skype or Zoom.
So no matter if you are currently living in Ireland, England, Malta, Poland or Spain. Our meetings are location-independent, which gives us the opportunity to establish a quality relationship from anywhere.
How long does a session last and how often would the sessions be held?
Each of the sessions lasts around 60 minutes and we allow 1-3 weeks between the sessions. Meeting once a week is proven to provide the greatest results in terms of change and maintains the momentum of us working together. We will take factors such as your schedule and coaching focus into consideration when deciding on the frequency of sessions.
How long can I expect the coaching program to last?
The coaching program time frame will greatly vary from few sessions to up to a year or more of coaching. Ultimately it all depends on you and your goals, how committed, open, thoughtful in implementing changes you are or how often are the sessions held. For example, there may be one or multiple goals we will be working on. This is one of the reasons, why we do have our introduction session. To establish your needs and program schedule.
Can I cancel my coaching program early?
Ultimately you are in charge and this is your decision to terminate the relationship at any point. I would ask for at least one week’s notice, to prepare a final session with closure and a review for us.
Do you guarantee the privacy of my information?
Of course. Your details as well as what is discussed during sessions is confidential. None of your information will be disclosed at all, unless prior to your written consent. I maintain strict confidentiality for your personal and business information.
